History: Every year, Thibault Liger Belair picks the best grapes coming from several domaine, as they work and to make the blend with Beaujolais, Bourgogne Pinot Noir and Hautes Côte de Nuits. They change the blend taking in consideration the quality of the grapes with a unique goal: producing the best blend of this wine with the best proportion of Gamay and Pinot Noir.
Tasting Notes:
It offers cool aromas of fresh-picked black cherry and liquorice, mixed with dark raspberry and black pepper. The palate reveals a touch of rusticity to its very ripe, plush flavours, with moderate tannins guiding the wine along its path. There is superb focus coming from the stunning minerality and notes of granite, no doubt from the touch of Gamay.
