History: Diego Magaña is already one of the hottest names in the new generation of young Spanish winemakers, and he’s only just getting started. Diego began working alongside his father and the family bodega, and his love of winemaking inspired him to strike out independently. He acquired beautiful old vines in the pure white limestone in the heart of the Alavesa Rioja, some of which are worked solely by horse traction.

Tasting Notes:

Indigenous yeast is used and fermented in open-top wood vats and ages for a year in large barrels. Juicy, floral, and captivating. An expressive, honest, balanced wine with a lot of fruit and elegant aging notes.
