History: Domaine de Courcel is a Burgundian estate situated in the commune of Pommard in the Côte de Beaune. The domain holds four premier cru climats planted exclusively to Pinot Noir: Le Grand Clos des Epenots, Les Rugiens, Les Frémiers and Les Croix Noires.

Tasting Notes: Presents a deep ruby hue and opens with a complex nose of red and black cherries, raspberries, and plums, interwoven with earthy notes of forest floor, truffle, and subtle spice. On the palate, it is robust and well-structured, with firm yet polished tannins and vibrant acidity. Flavors of dark fruit are complemented by hints of licorice, tobacco, and a touch of oak, leading to a long, refined finish that promises excellent aging potential.
