History: The quality of wine coming out of Paso Robles has interested Benoit for years, to the point that they bought the first vineyard property in the respected Paso Robles Willow Creek District AVA. This region benefits from limestone soils, plenty of daytime sunshine, and cooling ocean breezes and fog – a recipe for reds with both power and elegance.

Tasting Notes:

Inky purple with a crimson rim. The nose opens with an opulent rush of black cherry, wild blueberry, and dark plum, layered with baking spice, fresh tobacco, and sweet vanilla oak. Concentrated and plush on the palate, the wine delivers waves of ripe black fruit, dark chocolate, and fig, balanced by velvety tannins and a thread of coastal salinity. Rich, modern, and bold, yet retaining lift and poise through a long, spice-dusted finish. A showy Paso Cab with polish and power.
