Composition: 100% Pinot Noir

History: Sourced from selected blocks of the meticulously farmed Ulises Valdez, Silver Eagle Vineyard in the cool rolling hills of Green Valley Sonoma. This block features a very expressive clone of Pinot Noir nicknamed the ‘Vosne Romanee’ clone after the famous vineyard it is purported to be sourced from. Dark, iron clay soil is strewn with schist rocks that seem to add to the mineralty of the wine. 

Tasting Notes: 

Displays bold flavors of black cherry, pomegranate and violets that are all at once dense and compact with a refined elegance. The silky textured finish displays the tangy black cherry with savory notes of blood orange zest and oolong tea.
