Russell Bevan has been passionate about wine since his early years, and his dedication has driven him to become the winemaker he is today. He has crafted 38+ wines that have received perfect 100-point accolades, making his wines among the purest, most concentrated, and unapologetically pleasure-focused in Napa Valley. Heidi Bevan is the heart and soul of Adversity Cellars. After running an aviation company for 8 years, she transitioned fully into the wine world, mastering every aspect. Together, Russell and Heidi have turned Adversity Cellars into a coveted brand among wine enthusiasts worldwide.

Tasting Notes:

It has a fabulous combination of red fruits, cherry, plum and boysenberry which compete to see who can dominate each and every sip. These pure fruit flavors mingle with mocha and a fabulous minerality that gives this wine a flavor profile that pulls you into the glass. When tasting it, I go back and back and continue to discover new flavors and accents. Even though the Vineyard is a rock pile, the wine’s textures are incredibly supple and round. The tannins are always present, but never assertive. It is deep, complex and continues to steal your attention.
