History: Tinto Pesquera’s founder, Alejandro Fernández, has made history. His influence in putting Ribera del Duero and the Tempranillo variety on the map has been etched into the annals of Spain’s winemaking history. His style, completely different from what dominated the wine industry then, received immediate acceptance in the international market, a success that returned with strength in Spain. The revolution he sparked led to an evolution of the wine industry within and beyond Ribera del Duero, which endures today.

Tasting Notes: 

A wine for aging with an intense, deep, and bright Bordeaux color. It presents a structured, voluminous mouthfeel with silky tannins. Broad and full-bodied on the palate, with a polished tannic expression, ample, meaty, and with a long, proud finish. The nose is complex and elegant, offering aromas of black fruits and wild berries with spicy notes.
