Composition: 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Cabernet Franc, and 21% Merlot

History: Involuntary Commitment is a project of the winemaking team at Andrew Will Winery in Washington State “committed” to producing premium wines from the best vineyards in the Columbia Valley. The idea behind this new project was the forecast of a larger than expected harvest. With a combination of good weather, vine maturity, and time, we created a wine that showcases all the nuances of the best Washington State grapes that will drink beautifully straight from the bottle. The wines are fermented in stainless steel tanks with all the native yeasts and are aged in 100% neutral French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

This medium-bodied wine is dark garnet in color with a bouquet of black fruits, herbs, earth and hints of tobacco. In the mouth, the flavors of cherry, red currants and spices stand out. This wine is fresh, youthful and ready to drink, although it will keep well for the next 5 years.
