History: Dominio de Anza is Diego Magaña’s Bierzo label, and it’s fitting that the wines are produced in a corner of Raúl Pérez’s bodega in Valtuille de Abajo, since it was through his friendship with Raúl and love of the master’s wines that Magaña was drawn to Bierzo in the first place.

Tasting Notes

“There is richness of fruit, which probably shows the warmth of the year. The crushed sweet blueberries and cherries are tightly rounded by nicely chewy tannins, which are abundant and chalky. More powerful than the San Gines.” – James Suckling
