History: Marchese Lodovico Antinori is the creator of two of Italy’s most famous wines, Ornellaia and Masseto. He discovered the exceptional terroir Tenuta di Biserno in the Alta Maremma with his friend and wine advisor, Michel Rolland. He is joined by his brother, Marchese Piero Antinori, president of the world-renowned Antinori wines. On the famous Alta Maremma coast, Tenuta di Biserno is nestled among the hills of Bibbona, bordering the famous Bolgheri DOC. This wine is from a nearby estate, Tenuta Campo di Sasso, composed of 3 plots of 46 hectares, located southwest of Biserno and near Bibbona.

Tasting Notes:

A medium-intensity nose of dark fruits, blackberries, some floral notes, and a touch of spicy oak in the background. A light to medium-rich body with fine structure and balance.
