History: JaM Cellars was founded in Napa Valley by John Anthony Truchard and Michele Truchard with the goal of creating approachable, fruit-forward wines meant for everyday enjoyment. Their breakout success came with Butter Chardonnay, a rich, creamy wine that highlights the classic buttery texture from malolactic fermentation. Launched in the 2010s, it became a flagship product and helped define the modern “buttery wine” trend, making JaM Cellars a widely recognized name across the U.S.

Tasting Notes:

Orange blossom aromas lead to notes of ripe, juicy apricots and peaches with a touch of lemon curd bringing out its bright and lively fruit flavors. Brioche and caramel add touches of richness, and the soft creamy texture delivers a sumptuous finish on the palate.
