History: Matt Hardin, a farmer and sixth-generation resident of Napa Valley, serves as the owner and managing partner of Matthew Wallace Wines and Hardin-Clark Vineyard Management. He takes pleasure in applying his expertise to cultivate both ultra-premium grapes for private clients and the various sites that contribute to the Caterwaul Napa bottling. Thomas Rivers Brown, who has crafted some of the most iconic labels in Napa and Sonoma, including Schrader Cellars, Outpost, and his own Rivers-Marie & Aston Estate, boasts a portfolio of over 30 100-point wines. Having collaborated on numerous projects over the years, Matt and Thomas developed a close friendship. This bond inspired the creation of Caterwaul, leveraging each other’s strengths.
