Composition: 100% Tempranillo

History: In 2003 the Antón family expanded to Toro, well aware of the future potential of the region. After selecting different vineyards, they made the first vintage of Vetus, a wine created to maintain the essence of the region but with new nuances and objectives. The success of the wine encouraged them to establish a farm in the heart of the region and to build a winery that opened in 2008. In a small hundred-year-old pre-phylloxera vineyard called Camparrón, in Morales de Toro, Celso was born. Coupled with the low yield of the vineyard, the grape can only be used to make Celsus if the vintage reaches the highest quality.

Tasting Notes:

Dark and deep garnet red color. On the nose, strawberries, black currants, cherries, prunes, chocolate and tobacco. In the mouth we find a well-structured and perfectly balanced wine with an exquisite aftertaste, ripe tannins and good acidity.
