History: Cervantes Family Vineyards is a 1,100-acre ranch on the eastern edge of Napa Valley’s last frontier, marking the highest-profile project where winemaker Andy Erickson (Favia, Dalla Valle, Mayacamas, Arietta and formerly of Screaming Eagle, Harlan and Staglin) and Xavier Cervantes family are growing textbook wines on the hillsides of Napa Valley. Where wild deer and bears still roam, lending the feel of an unexplored wild frontier to these elegant and polished wines.

Tasting Notes:

A dark, black fruit core resides at the heart of the wine, surrounded by ethereal notes of herbs, spices, and flowers.  Ripe blackberries, kirsch, and red cherries drive the flavor profile.  On the nose, exotic notes of cardamom, cumin, and anise are supported by dried flowers and sage aromas.
