History: Chateau Pichon Baron, Second Grand Cru Classé in 1855, is one of Bordeaux’s great historic vineyards. A rigorous selection policy in the vineyard and in the cellars ensures the production of a Grand Vin, Chateau Pichon Baron, which is the purest expression of our unique terroir. The fruit comes from the oldest vines grown on the estate’s historic plots. 

Tasting Notes:

Intense deep garnet red. On the nose it is expressive and delicate, offering a wonderfully aromatic range of summer berries, black cherries and blueberries, very lightly underpinned by toasty spiciness. On the palate, as on the nose, it is precise and refined. Cozy and delicate velvety tannins carried by a ripe and generous fruit.
