History: Established in 2002 by Cliff Lede, Lede Family Wines presents a diverse portfolio of small-production wines with an unmistakable sense of place. Cliff Lede Vineyards, on 60 acres in Napa Valley’s Stags Leap district, is known for its elegant Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. The flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, Poetry, is made on the steep hillside part of the estate. FEL Wines specializes in varieties for cooler climates, sourcing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris from the Anderson Valley, including the 44-acre Savoy Vineyard estate.

Tasting Notes:

Opening with alluring aromas of lime flower, grapefruit, and elderflower, the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc’s charm is inescapable. Kiwi and lychee flavors melt into pear and white peach as the bright entry dances into a wide, creamy mid-palate with unctuous orange marmalade layers. The finish is long and broad, laden with notes of toasted brioche, beeswax, and a crystalline minerality accompanying a precise finish.
