History: Domaine Weinbach is a leading wine estate of the Alsace wine region. Located in the village of Kayersberg, it is known for producing wine from Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Sylvaner and Gewürztraminer in a concentrated style, with many of the top-cuvées bottled with residual sugar.

Tasting Notes:

A very shy nose on this wine gives next to nothing away. The palate, however, comes in with intense creaminess that has an edge of melted butter. It sits well with the rich, rounded pear fruit that dominates the midpalate. Gentle freshness frames the fruit and spells elegance. Power, spice and length become apparent on the dry finish.
