History: The trading company we know today as Croft was founded in 1588, during the reign of Elizabeth I, by Henry Thompson of York, England. Today Croft is part of the Fladgate Partnership, three of Porto’s most historic and prestigious houses, including Taylor Fladgate, Fonseca and Croft, a family-owned business that sets the standard to which other Port houses aspire. 

Tasting Notes:

This deep ruby ​​colored wine offers ripe, candied aromas of raisins and black plums that give way to youthful black fruit flavors on the palate. The wine is sweet and full-bodied, with medium tannins. Well structured and balanced, it has an excellent duration.
