History: Domaine de Chevalier is a highly-regarded wine estate in the Pessac-Léognan appellation of the Graves region just south of Bordeaux city. It was classified a Grand Cru Classé de Graves in 1959 for both its red (a Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend) and white (a classic white Bordeaux Blend) wines.

Tasting Notes:

Offers a pure and fresh nose of ripe Cabernet Sauvignon, evolving into wild fruits and spices like blackcurrant, blackberry, blueberry, sour cherry, peppermint, cedar, and heather. The palate is fresh and structured, with silky, elegant tannins. Merlot adds delicate fruitiness, Cabernet Franc brings refinement, and Petit Verdot contributes fruity and spicy energy. The classy finish reveals graphite and licorice notes. The high Cabernet Sauvignon proportion ensures excellent aging potential.
