History: Domaine des Perdrix is a Burgundian wine estate based in Premeaux-Prissey, near Nuits-Saint-Georges. It is mainly known for its rich red wines made from the Pinot Noir grape variety, particularly its Premier Cru, almost-monopole, Aux Perdrix vineyard.

Tasting Notes: 

Beautiful, deep, and intense dark color. The nose is rich with blackcurrant, blueberry, and spices. The wine is powerful on the palate, with smooth spices, cinnamon, and nutmeg. It is well structured, with present but smooth tannins—long aftertaste.
