History: Dominio de Anza is the project of Diego Magaña in El Bierzo. Coming from a family in the wine sector, after studying at the School of Vine and Wine in Madrid, he decided to train in one of the best wineries in Bordeaux, Burgundy, Chile and Argentina, returning to the family winery at the end of his training. It is on a promotional trip to the US where he meets the mythical Raúl Pérez, establishing a beautiful friendship that triggered the beginning of Magaña in the production of wines in Bierzo, using the facilities that Pérez himself gave him. It is in the year 2014 when Diego Magaña, trapped by the beautiful region of Leon, begins to produce wines like this Dominio de Anza Selección de Parcelas, his letter of introduction in Bierzo, and the origin of his Dominio de Anza winery, whose name honors that of his mother Esperanza.
