History: Domaine Drouhin-Laroze is a producer in the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy that specializes in Pinot Noir wines. The domaine originates in vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin, which Jean-Baptiste Laroze purchased in 1850. Eventually, Alexandre Drouhin took over the estate, bringing his family vines from Chambolle-Musigny and incorporating them under Domaine Drouhin-Laroze. Today, the family owns 11.5 hectares (28.5 acres) of vines spread throughout Burgundy, which is run by the fifth and sixth generations of the family.

Tasting Notes:

Elegant and deeply expressive, with layers of wild berries, rose petal, and subtle spice unfolding over a finely textured palate. It carries Grand Cru weight with a graceful touch-silky, perfumed, and long, with a mineral thread anchoring the finish.
