History: The Dumangin family has been working vineyards since 1650. Champagne Dumangin was created by Hippolyte Dumangin in 1890 in the 1er Cru village of Chigny-les-Roses. Three generations later Jacky Dumangin perfected the signature women’s range of Premier Cru champagne. His son, Gilles Dumangin, a 5th generation successful viticulturist, helped position his domain by introducing several high-end cuvees. Champagne J. Dumangin is spread over 13 acres in the prestigious Montagne de Reims and is considered a classic recoltant-manipulant (producer and grower) carefully controlling all aspects of production, from picking to bottling to reumage by hand.
