Composition: 80% Grenache, 20% Macabeo

History: The Priorat region in Catalonia, Spain, is a rugged agricultural area known for its ancient slate soils and Mediterranean climate, conditions that create ideal environments for distinctive wines. In 2001, the Denomination of Origin Montsant was established, bringing together vineyards around the town of Falset and quickly gaining international recognition for its quality wines. In 2008, winemaker Salvi Moliner and sommelier Sergi Montalà founded Estones Vins with the goal of crafting wines that express the character of Montsant using traditional varieties such as Garnacha and Cariñena. Their wines emphasize balance, fruit expression, and the unique terroir of the region.

Tasting Notes:

Pale yellow with greenish reflections. Clean and bright. Its aromas are complex, highlighting its fresh fruit (apple, pear, pineapple), and hints of anise and fennel, with a background of vanilla, tofee, cocoa and nuts. It is wide on the palate and it shows a lot of subtleness in the mouth, with creamy and fruity notes, with a balsamic finish.
