History: The Hirsch Vineyard was founded in 1980 by David Hirsch. Sitting at 1500ft high in elevation, the Pacific Ocean is visible just three miles to the southwest. The vineyard sits adjacent to the San Andreas Fault, which results in myriad soil types, exposures, and hosts more than 60 distinct blocks over 72 planted acres. Failla has been working with David and Jasmine Hirsch since 2001.

“Very suave, this is loaded with cooking spice accents to its plum tart, dark cherry and fig paste flavors, supported by rich acidity. The lithe finish features slate and forest floor accents, with fresh tannins.” – Wine Spectator
