History:  This wine is Benoit Touquette’s snapshot of the Napa Valley, capturing his personal view of the appellation, from valley floor to hillside heights. Napa Valley was the first AVA established in California, and remains its most prestigious. Cradled between the Mayacamas and Vaca mountain ranges, the valley extends 30 miles in length with an enormous diversity of soils, aspects and microclimates shaping the terroir. Deep loamy soils on the valley floor give way to shallow and rocky mountain slopes, and volcanic tufa where seismic activity once coated the region in ash. Coupled with the wide range of elevations, slopes, and exposures, this diversity creates thousands of unique growing conditions and possibilities. Fait-Main’s Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is assembled with fruit from all of Fait-Main’s acclaimed single-vineyard sources, plus some exciting up-and-coming vineyards mostly in Calistoga. It celebrates the unique and multifaceted charisma of Napa Valley, writ large.

Tasting Notes:

This unapologetically juicy, hedonistic wine celebrates all the corners of the Napa Valley. The vintage exhibits aromas of savory black fruits, cassis, chocolate, and espresso that jump out of the glass. The palate delivers an opulent abundance of fruit and intricate complexity, with classic minerality surrounded by velvet tannins.
