Region: Cotes-du-Rhone, Rhone Valley, France

Composition: Grenache Blanc, Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier

History: Famille Perrin’s involvement in the wine trade dates back to 1909, when Pierre Traminer purchased the Château de Beaucastel and later transferred it to his son-in-law Pierre Perrin, a scientist who developed Beaucastel. His son, Jacques, continued his father’s efforts and continued to expand the family’s holdings until 1978. Today, Jacque’s sons, Jean-Pierre and François, run the business with the fifth generation of the family: Marc, Pierre, Thomas, Cécile, Charles, Matthieu and César. It is no coincidence that Famille Perrin is the leading organic winegrower in the southern Rhône Valley, where they occupy the best terroirs in the region. Their values have given them a worldwide reputation for excellence: absolute respect for the soil, a commitment to manual methods and a deep belief that organic viticulture is the only way to express the true essence of the terroir. Furthermore, the combination of talents within the family ensures the continuation of their unique experience. Nature and tradition are key to the Famille Perrin way and this approach has continued uninterrupted for five generations.

Tasting Notes:

Subtle nose with hints of white flowers, honeysuckle and sage. Round and supple on the palate, this wine reveals beautiful minerality, freshness and a slight bitterness on the finish.
