History: Francisco Barona was born under the vines. The vineyard runs through his veins. His father, grandfather, and great-grandfather are vine growers. Due to his passion for the vineyards and wine, he traveled to Bordeaux, where he graduated in Oenology and Viticulture. In 2021, he built his winery, which he designed entirely; it is a sustainable, efficient, and fully integrated building in the landscape. The respect for the raw material is maximum, making wines with whole grapes and using gravity during the entire process, resulting in wines of high expressivity and complexity.

Tasting Notes:

Deep red with violet highlights. Powerful nose with wild forest fruits, blackberry, raspberry, and blueberries. Coffee and black chocolate notes mingle with cinnamon and vanilla spices and hints of minerality like Chinese ink—fresh on the palate with rich tannins and long lingering flavor sensations.
