History: Kosta-Browne’s story begins with two friends, Dan Kosta and Michael Browne. The year was 1997, and the friends worked at John Ash & Co., a popular restaurant in Santa Rosa, California. Dan was the general manager; Michael was the sommelier. But their true passion was something bigger, bolder and more brazen than anything they’ve ever done: they wanted to create Pinot Noir. The catch: neither gentleman had any experience in making wine. What followed was a story of perseverance, dedication and hard work.

Tasting Notes:

The Sta Rita Hills Pinot Noir has a medium ruby ​​violet color and forgoes cinnamon toast, raspberry coulis, macerated strawberries and rosewater perfume with musk accents , lilac, blood orange and burnt earth. Medium-bodied, it slowly expands on the palate, releasing drops of scented red fruits. It has a robust yet finely grained frame and perfect freshness, with a very long, layered and fantastically scented finish.
