Composition: Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah

History: Jean-Pierre Perrin founded La Vieille Ferme more than 45 years ago, when he decided to produce a precise and affordable Rhône wine to sell by direct mail to French wine lovers. He used the same grape varieties in similar proportions to those planted at the family’s Château de Beaucastel and employed a similar winemaking process. The result was an immediate success in France: a wine with character and style in keeping with its Beaucastel heritage.

Tasting Notes:

Nice deep red color. Fresh nose of ripe red fruit with hints of cherries. Well balanced with soft tannins, it is a full and refreshing wine with excellent length.
