History: For the past four decades, Matanzas Creek Winery has focused on creating wines that express the place. Over the years, our methodology has remained the same: using a variety of vineyard clones and fermentation vessels, and exploring new cultivation and vinification techniques to produce carefully crafted, expressive and balanced wines. Today, all vineyards on the Matanzas Creek Winery estate are sustainably grown and certified by the California Sustainable Viticulture Alliance.

Tasting Notes:

Aromas and flavors of violets, marionberry, and abundant fresh plum aromas. Medium to full body, silky smooth texture. Tannins are supple. Pair with beet salad with goat cheese, fried eggplant, or roasted chicken with cardamon cumin basmati rice.
