History: Miura (myu rä) n. 1. Derived from Don Eduardo Miura, the most famous breeder of Spanish fighting bulls; for the Spanish, Miura is a legendary name signifying nobility, boldness and power. Miura is our program that focuses on what I feel are the best regions in California for the growing of Pinot Noir. Within each of those regions, I have selected the vineyard that best exemplifies that area stylistically and qualitatively.

Tasting Notes:

Beautifully pure black raspberry and floral-infused black currant fruit with some sweet cherries, underbrush, and forest floor. On the palate there is red cherry, grenadine, apple skin, red licorice, sandalwood, and baking-spice flavors that combine to create a racy, lingering, harmony. Mineral notes, fruit zest and tannin bring balance to the finish.
