History: Domaine Mongeard-Mugneret is a Burgundy estate with a long history of making fine Pinot Noir wines in Vosne-Romanée. Pinot Noir is the most significant variety in the portfolio, supplemented with a small number of white wines made from Chardonnay and Aligoté. The white wines tend not to come from the more prestigious grand and premier cru-designated vineyards that the domaine is famous for. 

Tasting Notes: Is a wine of immense elegance, with a beautiful colour and exceedingly subtle aromas. The delicacy and complexity of the aromas, reminiscent of violets, raspberries, and strawberries, with a hint of blackcurrants, impart a fine, delicate bouquet. On the palate it reveals charm, freshness and elegance. It’s very subtle character is due to the combination of low acidity and very fine, smooth, well-balanced tannins.
