History: The Kilmore Doorway image was captured by photographer David K. Brunn. This Romanesque doorway was a carved entrance to the ancient Trinity Island Abbey in County Cavan, Ireland. For hundreds of years, the cloisters served as a refuge until they were destroyed by the forces of Oliver Cromwell. Here the great patriot Owen Roe O’Neill sought solace during his quest for Irish independence.

Tasting Notes:

This one has a strawberry scent on the nose which makes for a bright, fresh and focused impression. On the palate it is super elegant and has a very plush, fine and detailed texture with a long and fresh persistence of fruit.
