History: Patient Cottat was a famous master goldsmith in mid-19th century France. Born in Paris, he loved the Berry region in the center of the Loire Valley. His legacy is carried on through the Patient Cottat range of select traditional wines from the Loire Valley, produced by the Fournier family. Located in the small town of Verdigny in the Sancerre region, the Fournier family has been making wine for many generations. The estate has grown from 13 acres in 1950 to almost 75 acres today, divided between the Menetou-Salon, Pouilly-Fumé and Sancerre appellations.

Tasting Notes:

Lemon color with golden green reflections. Complex and intense aromas, predominantly of acacia flowers with a nose of passion fruit. In the mouth it is full and round. Very well balanced. Notes of lychee and a little touch of honey.
