History: Pizzorno Family Estates was founded in 1910 by Don Prospero Pizzorno, an Italian immigrant who established the winery in the Canelones region of Uruguay. Today, fourth-generation family member Carlos Pizzorno leads the estate, modernizing production by introducing advanced winemaking technologies and accelerating international exports. The winery successfully blends a century of family tradition with modern innovation, focusing heavily on terroir-driven wines made from Tannat, Malbec, and Pinot Noir.

Tasting Notes:

The wine has an intense aroma bursting with sweet black and red fruits, including blackberries, plums, and cherries, layered with refreshing hints of mint, eucalyptus, and subtle black pepper, while the palate is medium-to-full-bodied, with soft, velvety tannins, balanced acidity, a smooth, juicy mid-palate, and a lingering finish with spice and mineral undertones.
