History: Realm has been fortunate to work with exceptional Beckstoffer To Kalon fruit since we began producing wine in 2002. Comprised of a portion of the historic To Kalon vineyard that was first planted with grapes in 1868, the 89 plot acres was purchased by Andy Beckstoffer in 1993 and replanted using tight spaces and modern trellis. Bordering Highway 29 and extending west almost to the Mayacamas Mountain Range in the Oakville AVA, Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard sits on a vast floodplain formed millions of years ago during a period of immense geological activity.
