History: Scheid Family Wines has been growing wine grapes in Monterey County, California since 1972. With 4,000 acres of certified sustainable vineyards located along a 70-mile stretch of the Salinas Valley and a state-of-the-art winery, Scheid Family Wines is fully integrated to bring to market high quality wines grown in the field. Since 2017, Scheid’s winery and bottling operations have been powered by 100% renewable wind energy generated by a 396-foot-tall wind turbine, which also supplies enough power for 125 homes in the local community.

Tasting Notes:

Notes of Meyer lemon, lime kefir, lychee, white peach, and Asian pear, along with hints of mandarin and guava, give way to smooth acidity that supports the wine’s structure.
