Composition: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon

History: The Mascot started from the beginning as an experiment, after convincing the family and team of winemakers to save a few barrels of wine, produced from our youngest vines, to explore a blend of their own. In the early years, before it had a label or a name, it was just a wine shared with friends and family. It wasn’t until the 2008 vintage, our first official release, that we had enough to share with new friends. 

Tasting Notes:

Red berries and baking spices intermingle on the nose, while on entry the wine is smooth, gently accelerating as it reveals structure and athletic form, culminating in transparency and poise.
