The Tinto Negro portfolio explores the Mendoza terroir where Malbec shines, gradually isolating unique vineyard sites and winemaking techniques, and showcasing the heights of concentration and complexity Malbec can aspire to. Tinto Negro was born from the long friendship and professional collaboration of Alejandro Sejanovich and Jeff Mausbach. Bodega Catena Zapata colleagues for nearly 15 years, Alejandro was Vineyard Director and Jeff was Director of Wine Education. Sourced from the Primera Zona de Maipu and Luján de Cuyo de Mendoza, the Mendoza blend is meant to showcase the exceptional value and accessible profile of Malbec.
