Composition: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec, 15% Cabernet Franc

History: The La Mascota vineyards are located at the foot of the Andes, barely a thousand meters from the Mendoza River. The vines receive cool breezes that come down from the mountains and blow along the river, all of which contribute to the generation of wide temperature ranges. The average age of the vineyards is 30 years, ranging from the new blocks of 5 years of age to the oldest ones planted in the 70s. “I took my first steps as a winemaker 27 years ago. My decision to become a winemaker was partly influenced by my family’s winemaking tradition and their passion for wine. As a child, I used to see my grandfather and father engaged in their winemaking tasks and always wished that one day I could make my own wines to be proud of. Mascota Vineyards wines are the result of that dream. They have my personal imprint and are a testimonial to the story of my life. Tasting notes:

Intense cherry red color, elegant aromas of chocolate and tobacco, together with a touch of black pepper. Well structured with round tannins that blend very well with its fresh and juicy acidity.
