Composition: 53% Cabernet Franc, 22% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 4% Malbec

History: The wines of Vérité, French for “truth”, are the result of a combination of old world experience and new world fruit. Each wine is a distinct blend of unique components harvested from small blocks of vineyards, culminating in a meticulously crafted union of grape varieties, climate, soil expression, and winemaking technique. Vigneron Pierre Seillan refers to this methodology as droit du sol, “law of the land.”

Tasting Notes:

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the cultivation of Cabernet Franc by Pierre Seillan, the precision of this wine is matched only by its elegance. A bouquet of blackberries, rose petals and Provencal herbs come together in the iron-rich minerality that is the variety’s birthright. Perfectly cultivated fruit, harvested by micro-cru and masterfully blended, an intensely structured and long-lasting wine is produced here.
