History: ZunZun is the Cuban word for hummingbird (in Mayan, Tsununun). It derives its name from the tireless sound of its flapping wings and besides being a sacred pollinator, it is a symbol of new life, adaptability and resilience. Their label is inspired by a Taino legend of the creation of the hummingbird. It tells the story of two young tainos from rival tribes who inevitably fall in love. The label honors this legend, characterized by a play of tropical colors and highlighting the Zunzun bird as he floats from flower to flower in search of his beloved.

Tasting Notes:

The wine is a bright, medium-deep purplish red. On the nose we get dark fruits such as plums and blueberries, citrus notes of tangerine, wild herbs, and mineral notes. The palate has balanced acidity and tannins with moderate minerality. It is juicy and at the same time very drinkable making it a perfect pairing with a wide range of dishes.
