Region: Valencia, Spain

Composition: 60% Monastrell and 40% Arco, Forcalla & Bonicaire

History: Rafael Cambra, a native of Ontinyent, studied oenology in Spain and Montpellier, and after working in several wineries in Rioja, he decided to return to his homeland to make his wines and try to express his idea of wine in the vineyards in his area. In this way, it creates its wines by mixing French varieties such as Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and those native to its land, such as Monastrell. Their philosophy is one of minimal intervention in the processes and in the land, so that the varieties purely express their character. The vineyards grow in the lower part of the mountains in the area of Fontanars dels Alforins at about 700 meters above sea level, with a continental climate and low rainfall.

Tasting Notes:

In its suggestive nose, notes of fresh berries intermingle with perfumes of aromatic herbs, flowers, and a touch of spice. The palate has a medium body and a pleasant texture, with freshness, acidity, and balance, thanks to wonderful and attractive tannins. It exudes purity, countless nuances, and great nobility of character.
