History: The four Mondavi sisters—Angelina, Alycia, Riana, and Giovanna—grew up surrounded by their family’s Napa Valley winemaking tradition, learning the craft from their grandfather Peter Mondavi Sr. and father Marc. Motivated by a blend of tradition and innovation, they started Dark Matter Wines in 2005, bought Aloft in 2017, and eventually launched Humble Beginnings Wines. These ventures honor their family’s legacy while reflecting their own unique vision and personalities in Napa Valley winemaking.

Tasting Notes:

Light on upfront fruit with gentle tannins and a distinctive earthy undertone on the finish, gaining greater expression with time in the bottle.
