History: Massolino (formally Azienda Agricola Vigna Rionda) is a Piedmont winery best known for its Barolo DOCG wines made from the Nebbiolo variety. The 23 hectares (57 acres) of estate vines are almost all entirely in the Barolo sub-region Serralunga d’Alba.

Tasting Notes: 

Exhibits an elegant nose with smoky woodland aromas, macerated flowers, and hints of chocolate, framed by fresh redcurrant fruit. On the palate, it is savory with vibrant acidity and youthful, chewy tannins that integrate seamlessly into the finish, revealing complex layers of macerated cherry, plum, and spices. The firm structure and rich texture indicate this wine’s potential for long-term aging.
