History: Domaine Matrot is a producer, located in the Burgundy village of Meursault, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. It focuses primarily on the production of white wines made from Chardonnay and Aligoté, making a total of seven premier cru white wines. 

Tasting Notes:

Still in barrel, unracked. Really racy fruit, with a fresh greengage note. Ripeness arrives quickly here but has clearly been managed well this year. The body is perfectly judged, a mix of ripe citrus and fresh pear here, beautifully judged, finesse and really long.
